ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is making life interesting for the Quartermaine family. He is on a mission to get back what belonged to his late father, and we genuinely think he means well with this. He seems like a straight-up type who tells things like they are. Let’s take a look at the other side of this, though. And how, good guy or not, he could be quite the problem for this family.

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Austin started off as a total mystery. A guy with one name who came across Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in the woods and delivered her baby. There are some things that are a bit suspect with him, though.
The main one being that he owned the place Maxie was taken to. That and his timing when Maxie went into labor was suspicious to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Understandably so. While we like him and think he is on the level, we can see where there might be more to uncover with him, and it might not all be good. However, we see one thing as being the most likely situation with him.

Recently, we saw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) taking advantage of this sudden arrival. He made nice with Austin and even gave him some friendly advice. As in, beware of the Quartermaines, because things can get interesting when they’re involved. We don’t think that’s just random advice to be nice or annoy the family. We think it’s intentional, and we believe Austin is going to take the bait.

So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate the battle in court is still on. The family is still waiting for their own verification, but they seem convinced he is on the level as far as being related to them. We think Valentin is going to offer his help. With the resources at Valentin’s disposal, it would definitely make Austin’s fight to claim a piece of the ELQ pie.
Of course, in exchange, Valentin will want Austin’s vote to stay in charge. And we have a feeling Austin will be more than happy to help, as he seems to be the type that will pay back a good deed. Plus, with ELQ not suffering under his leadership, Austin might see no reason to change things.
They could actually make an interesting team that could shake up the family and company for a while to come. And he could turn into a great weapon for Valentin in the future. The truth about that baby is going to come out sooner or later.
When it does, Valentin will be hurt and angry. So we can see him finding ways to use Austin to drive the family crazy. Especially Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Will Austin go along willingly? We’ll see.
