First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Anna isn’t doing this alone. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is also feeling a lot of guilt about what happened, given his part in how Peter turned out.
Much like Anna, he wants to make things right. So, the pair took off to follow the trail. Obviously, it’s going to be a tough one, given that baby wasn’t actually kidnapped. But is there time for something else while they’re investigating?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Romance ahead?
In the promo for Tuesday, we saw Anna mention being stuck for the night to Valentin. As we have seen on a lot of shows, this usually leads to something more than intended. The tone in her voice gave us this impression as well, and let’s face it: neither one is attached right now. We’ll get more into that in a minute.
First, we have to say we’re totally for a Valentin/Anna paring. Valentin has been the person Anna can confide in the most through the Peter thing, for one. And in their shared guilt, they’ve formed a nice bond.
And we love how Valentin is a reality check for Anna. He’s the guy who calls it as he sees it, even when Anna didn’t want to see. And we think she’d be a great one to help Valentin out when this inevitable baby scam reveal happens. But there’s more.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Two sides of the same coin
They didn’t just both contribute to Peter’s upbringing/what he turned into. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal they both engaged in lies. Lies that might have been well-intentioned, but inevitably came undone.
So, they’ve both broken the truth of those they loved. Which makes them a great pairing, in our opinion. They know the pain of the consequences and have likely learned a few things from it.
Plus, we think Valentin (or someone like him) is the only one who could understand the world Anna lives in. So, she wouldn’t have to worry about the same problems she had with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
And Valentin would know better than to try duping Anna. At least, we believe so. After the Peter situation, we think her eyes are going to be wide-open to everything around her like never before. Plus, they’re just fun to watch interact on screen.
