ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is coming into the forefront. We’ve enjoyed her character so far, and think Mikayla’s doing a great job with her. Each day, we’re learning a little bit more about Trina and it looks like a big story is shaping up. So, what’s going on? And how is this going to affect Trina and some other characters? ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Planting Seeds!
The beginning of this started a while back. We watched Stella Henry (Vernee Watson-Johnson) get a DNA test done, and there was a close match right in Port Charles. As time went on, we learned the relative she contacted on the site lived in England, but something didn’t sit right. They’d made it clear the match was much closer than what we’re seeing. Later on, we saw a similar thing play out with Trina. She also took that test and got a match in town. So, who is it? Let’s take a look at what went down yesterday.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Off Guard!
Recently, we learned Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was Trina’s dad, finally giving insight into her home life. With his death recently, we also met her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). And it looks like Portia has a lot more mystery ahead.
In the Tuesday, March 10th episode, the funeral and wake for Taggert took place. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was reluctant to go, but Laura Webber (Genie Francis) talked him into it. And she made it clear he had nothing to feel guilty about. That might have been a mistake. As soon as Taggert arrived, Trina went off. She blames him for her father’s death and ordered him to leave. This is where things get interesting.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hello Again!
It seems Portia is no stranger to Curtis. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate they seemed surprised to see each other. It was clear they had something going, and Portia is uncomfortable. We think it’s because Curtis is Trina’s actual daddy. It would match up with the DNA test stuff, plus Portia has a very similar look in a lot of ways to Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry), which indicates Curtis has a type. Besides a physical resemblance, they have a similar way of carrying themselves. All that said, though, we don’t think Curtis is aware of who Trina is. That leaves a question—what’s next?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Revelation!
We’re pretty sure this will come out over a little time. Curtis might actually begin to suspect something first, as we’re sure once he recognized her he started doing a little math. We’re guessing things didn’t end very well between them, and she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret. Maybe even lie to Taggert and make him believe Trina is his.
As for the rest, we’re sure this is going to be a massive story for Trina that’s going to rock her world. And we see a lot of tension ahead. Not just with her and Curtis, but with Portia, too. And then there’s the matter of Jordan and Curtis. While we don’t see Jordan taking issue with this (assuming he didn’t know about Trina), we think it will take Jordan some time to process the news.
