The actress, who is best known for her role as Elizabeth Webber, says that getting the opportunity to meet and connect with her fans is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of her work. Just like so many other ‘General Hospital’ stars, Rebecca often attends fan events throughout the country. And that’s when she not only gets to be herself but also gets to hear what her fans have to say. The actress says that while being on the road can be tough, it’s something that she always looks forward too. In fact, it’s something she wants to do even more of this year.

“I’d done 17 of them consecutively, but then I think I missed the past five years,” the actress said to Soaps In Depth in a new interview. “This year, I felt I wanted to reconnect with the fans. I hadn’t seen them in quite some time, because I don’t do a whole lot of social media. I’m not on Instagram, and I’m only on Twitter every now and then. So I felt like I just wanted to reach out and hear what they have to say.”
Speaking about this past weekend’s Main Event, Rebecca has nothing but positive things to say. The actress added, “Everybody was really sweet. Really kind and generous with their time and stories. There was no negativity. I enjoyed just being able to be there, be a part of the cast and talk to people who love the show. I’m really thankful.”
