General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 30th reveal a focus on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her fight for survival. We’ll also see Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) clinging to hope. Plus, there could be a slight complication in the new plan to help Willow. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers: Out of options
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow had been hoping for that transplant, but it wasn’t meant to be. Nina wasn’t a match after all, so they had to go with one last option. This week, we’ll see Willow giving birth to the new baby, who they hope will be able to save her. We think it’s a given that Willow makes it out of this, however, there is a hint of trouble in the promo.
General Hospital spoilers: Setbacks
There’s a clip in the promo between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). He’s asking her if Willow had a setback, and we could see where that might be the case. Carly looks upset, and given Willow’s current state it’s likely there will be some problem.
Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will confide in Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) about the situation. She’ll worry about what would happen if Willow doesn’t wake up. So, that also makes it sound as if the new plan won’t go as smoothly as Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hoped it would. Again, we’re betting on some last-minute problems to up the drama but we don’t expect this to be the end of Willow. And there’s one character in particular who’ll be hoping for a miracle.
General Hospital spoilers: Desperate
So, General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina got a huge shock when she learned Willow was her daughter. Ever since then, she’s been in a fight-or-flight state as she desperately waited for news that she could save Willow. We’re guessing her demeanor will be completely different this week, as she now knows there’s a good chance she’ll lose a second daughter.
However, one more twist will come along for Nina. In the promo, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will inform Nina there might be a way to save Willow’s life. The look on Nina’s face makes one hope that really is the case. If, by any chance, something were to happen to Willow, this would not be good. With the state Nina’s been in, if this last-minute hope falls through, there’s no telling how far Nina would go to get back at Carly and anyone else who she feels wronged her.
