ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that just when you thought the animosity between Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) couldn’t get any worse, things will escalate to an all-time high between these two blondes. That’s because Carly along with every other living person with a pulse in Port Charles will do whatever it takes to keep Baby Wiley out of the arms of his biological mother. But it won’t be easy. That’s because Nelle is always one step ahead of everyone. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘General Hospital’ head co-writer Chris Van Etten offers this to the publication, “As she tries to assert her parental rights, the rest of the family feels that Nelle may be putting Wiley’s health at risk. This is something that Wiley’s family simply will not stand for. Carly may take it upon herself to outflank Nelle, with the help of her close family.”

Van Etten adds, “However, the simply act of protecting this little boy’s health may have some profound repercussions for Port Charles at large. Sasha will push an audacious plan to keep Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) away from Wiley and Chase’s love for Willow will be tested as he grapples with how far he’s willing to go for the woman he loves. Michael and Willow grow closer as they join forces to protect Wiley from Nelle.”

But if there’s one thing that we’ve learned about Nelle Benson over the years, it’s that she always has an ace up her sleeves and this time around it’s no different. However, Van Etten says that there’s going to be a big episode between Carly and Nelle and it’s going to change life in Port Charles forever. And no, Nelle is not going to accuse Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) of pushing her down the stairs and then try to get her committed again. It’s definitely going to be much worse.
