ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers is saying that on Friday’s episode we saw Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) get shot in an attempt to free his daughter from the goons of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Now, it looked like Taggert died in the warehouse when he told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to take care of his daughter but he could have just passed out. There’s a chance when paramedics get there that they could revive him and let’s hope for poor Trina Robinson’s (Sidney Mikayla) sake that they can. She already feels her share of survivor’s guilty, seeing her Dad get shot, it seems unnecessarily cruel that they would kill him but hey, it’s a soap, things happen.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Why they would keep Taggert alive
Aside from having sympathy for his daughter, there is also the moment in the promo for next week when Trina says “He’s waking up!” which could very well be referring to Taggert, her Dad. But the thing is she doesn’t seem to concerned when she says it so it might be her Dad, but it also might be referring to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) who was with her when she was released from the hostage situation. But I’ll get to him in a minute. The reason why they might keep Taggert alive is that he possibly has more information for the case against Cyrus Renault and will be valuable in the turf war, also it would be interesting to see more of the dynamic between him and Jordan because you know there’s more to the story there.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Killing Taggert and keeping Cam alive
This is a more likely option for the story. It’s very likely that Taggert did die in the warehouse and that Cam is the one that Trina is referring to in the hospital. In another part of the promo there was a reference to Jason saying “Cam almost died tonight.” which means that something happens to Cam. Since Trina didn’t seem too concerned it’s most probably Cam that gets hit with whatever (hopefully not a bullet) and Trina feels a tad guilty over it so she’s with him in the hospital while he’s recovering. This could also make way for the little romance angle they are trying between the teen scene in Port Charles, after all, Trina did tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that they were together so maybe the reason she doesn’t seem all that concerned over him is that its all part of that plan. As callous as that sounds. (Then again, have you seen a 16 year old girl plan out an accidentally-on-purpose thing? They’re awfully inventive!) To see if Taggert is okay or not, there’s only one thing to do, and that’s stay tuned!!!
