General Hospital spoilers for September 28th reveal there is still more fallout ahead from the “Mike”/Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) situation. But it looks like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) might be looking to make this better. Plus, we’ll see an interesting partnership ahead. Let’s take a look at the day’s teasers and promo.
General Hospital spoilers: Strange pair
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal desperate situations sometimes lead one to places you’d never expect. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will find that out September 28th. In the promo, he asks, “Who managed to capture you?” It seems he is talking to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who will jump to form an unexpected alliance. We can’t wait to see these two working together. And it definitely makes sense Liesl would end up there after her escape attempt/threat against Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
General Hospital spoilers: Closer?
Also on Tuesday, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will need a little liquid courage today. General Hospital spoilers tease he’ll take advantage of a moment of that, so we think there is a confession to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ahead. They have definitely seemed to be getting closer over the past few months, and we can see him taking that a step further.
General Hospital spoilers: Time’s up
Finally, there’s the “Mike”/Sonny thing. Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) game is getting closer than ever to the end. The first sign? Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) asks Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) if he has a feeling something’s going on with Nina. Do they invite her over to see her grandson and get these vibes, or is there something else that gives Willow that impression? We’ll see. But we do know there’s one person who’ll find out for sure.
That would be Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). After yesterday’s slip, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get Maxie to go by the Corinthos home to speak to Carly. In the promo, Carly wants to know what “she” knew and when, so it’s obvious Maxie tells all. However, the teasers say that she encourages everyone to lead with compassion. So, we do believe she’ll do her best to help smooth this over for Nina. We don’t think Carly will care much about Maxie’s pleas for compassion, though. Expect Carly to go off on Nina any time now.
As for Sonny, it seems he tells everything about Nixon Falls to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). In the promo, Jason says, “It’s not your fault.” Sonny replies that it’s Nina’s. So, while Sonny clearly does have some kind of feeling yet for Nina, he also holds some animosity toward her for what happened. We’ll see if the feelings win out and prevents him from doing anything to Nina in retaliation.
