ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) created more trouble than she might have realized with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lie. However, the mess is awesome to watch. It’s bringing so many great scenes that we hope to get more of. Let’s talk a few highlights and what we’d like to see coming.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scene stealing
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Nina has had her share of getting called out lately. But we think the best one was Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). In a moving scene, Nina and Joss encountered each other in town and Nina was ready to leave if that made Joss feel better. However, Joss had something to say.
She showed Nina the journal she’d given Joss as a graduation gift, pointing out she didn’t tell Nina she doesn’t journal anymore, as she didn’t want to be rude. But she ended up writing again as a way to process Sonny’s supposed loss.
Joss ripped page after page from the journal, telling what they said. About listening to her mother cry at night, the days they actually felt like a family, etc. McCoy was award-worthy in the scene, especially when her voice broke as she spoke about how Nina lied to Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) as well.
There was something else we loved about the scene. Watros was brilliant as Nina took in the abuse. You could see in her face and body language she had prepared herself to take this and more from people. And you got the sense she felt she definitely deserved it while also seeming hurt over the pain Joss expressed. Great work by both of them and we can’t wait for more.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Great moment
Another thing we loved was when Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What we want
As we look ahead, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) paid a visit to Port Charles. And we honestly hope she keeps coming back. Her relationship with Sonny is nice, and we think she’s good for him. Without much left in Nixon Falls, we believe she needs a change of scenery, and where better to do that than where Sonny is?
He’ll no doubt want to repay her for her kindness and we think she could be a nice addition to the town. Especially since she encouraged Sonny to lead with compassion himself and not just write Nina off. It’d be a good balance for him, as we see her being a person who’ll tell him things others might not and everyone needs that.
