ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for May 20th reveal Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is worried about Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and she’s letting him know it. Meanwhile, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) makes another appearance and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is all business.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Motherly concern
First off, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Laura had a tense conversation with Cyrus the other day. As we expected, he was not happy about Nikolas’ plans to buy Pentonville. If novelas haven’t steered us wrong, a drug lord like him would definitely see losing his foothold on the place as a bad thing.
As a result of this talk, Laura asks if “that’s” the only reason Nikolas wants to buy Pentonville. By “that”, we assume she means protecting Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who’ll, by the way, feeling introspective Thursday. We assume whatever Nikolas gives Laura will eventually be enough, as she’ll support his decision.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Another blow?
Recently, we were talking about all the potential ways recent events could bring down the Corinthos empire. It looks like another blow comes on Thursday, although unintentionally. Last we saw Shawn, he’d refused to fight for his release out of loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
As Sonny is supposedly dead, Alexis argued he really doesn’t have to sit and suffer behind bars anymore. Looks like it worked, because he tells TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow) Alexis convinced him he doesn’t have to pay for a crime he didn’t commit.

As for Dante, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal he’s taking his job seriously. And maybe a bit personally. On May 20th, he’ll insist he going to find Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’ll also call Sam out on her actions, meaning he likely knows exactly how his tire got slashed.
Sam’s playing a dangerous game, because this cop!Dante seems a bit different and might be running out of patience. And, by the way, we can’t get over how dramatic a physical transformation Dante’s made. We do a double-take every time he’s on screen without that shaggy hair and beard.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Gambling?
In other news, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) says she’s saving the best for last. As Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) comes to her defense, we assume whatever she meant by “confronting things head-on” won’t go over well with Cyrus. Of course, things rarely please him, so what else is new?
We’ll also have a bit of déjà vu as they repeat the clip of Carly promising the only one who can save Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Brando is her. We’re curious if Gladys will actually listen to reason and distance herself from Cyrus. We have slight doubts, as she’s stubborn and could think Carly is playing her.
