ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the situation with ELQ just got real. There were two big developments on Tuesday, March 3rd. The biggest was, of course, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) getting the offer from Linc Brown (Dan Buran). If she sells him her shares of ELQ, she’ll get her freedom. If she doesn’t, she can look forward to wasting away creatively the next five years. The other, however, was slightly more insidious. It was a betrayal from within. Here’s what you need to know.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has a lot on his mind these days. The attacks on his family are only part of it. There’s also the Wiley situation. He’s got a lot to juggle there. Not only does he have to worry about getting Wiley settled and comfortable with his new life, he has to deal with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) possibly causing trouble, too. And that’s not to mention all the pain this caused for people he loves. But he made Wiley the top priority Tuesday.
General Hospital spoilers indicate he realized he needed to simplify his life. To that end, he told Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) he needed a leave of absence from the company to spend time with Wiley so they can bond and develop this new relationship as father and son. While he and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) gave in fairly quickly, their initial response to the request didn’t sit right.

As parents themselves, and having another little one in the house, we found their first reaction horrible. They suggested there was nothing to worry about, as there are nannies to take care of the children. And in a few years, he’ll be heading off to school to make friends and be independent. Say what?
We couldn’t understand how they didn’t understand this situation. Michael lost a year plus of his kid’s life. Suggesting he basically hand Wiley over to nannies is beyond cold. Especially since he only has this small window with Wiley before he heads to school. But, we later saw they might have had a good reason for the quick reversal.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Backstabber
Ned soon gladly accepted the request to take over for a few weeks while Michael spent time with his son. It was after Michael left when we saw what’s really going on. General Hospital spoilers indicate he jumped right into action, setting up a meeting. When Olivia questioned how permanent he made things sound, we learn that’s exactly what he wants. He intends to keep the job, as Michael is too distracted with the kid. Plus, there’s the shares situation, and the controversy surrounding the Corinthos family right now.
We understand the logic behind this, but it seems cold for Ned to use that to his advantage, not to mention betraying Michael. From what we’ve seen, Michael’s done a good job, and he wants to stick with it. When Michael finds out the truth, he’s going to be upset. Maybe even enough to turn his back on the Quartermaines. We wouldn’t blame him. Nor would we blame him if he started embracing the Corinthos side more. And if Michael goes dark, they’ll have a lot of the blame.
