ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For May 16: Truth hurts
They say the truth will set you free. However, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that might not be the case when Stella tells Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) the truth. It seems he won’t take whatever she wanted Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) to keep quiet well, as he demands to know why she lied to him.
Oh, Curtis, it gets better. Wait until you realize that, technically, you aren’t really divorced. Stella stole the papers and never got to mail them because of her stroke. Why no one else has noticed this little detail, I don’t know. We’re guessing they’ll save that for when/if he tries to marry Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For May 16: Help on the way?
Elsewhere, it looks like Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be trying to help Ava Jerome (Maura West) out. However, Ava doesn’t appear interested, as she tells Trina, “Dealing with Nikolas is my job.” We hate to say it, Ava, but you’re not doing so well on that front. He’s just as pulled in by Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) as ever.

In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, the Quartermaines gather to see Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) recite his poem. We wondered if things would go well when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was nowhere to be seen and Leo was going on about how he needs Chase to be there. It looks like he does, in fact, show up in time. In the promo, he tells Leo, “You have to do your part — Deal?”

As for Felicia, it seems she’ll be shocked to learn about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin getting close. She’ll ask Anna, “Why am I just learning about this now?” And it looks like she’ll go into protective friend mode, as she’ll question Valentin about his intentions.

Let’s talk Esme. We saw Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) inform Esme that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) must be on to her. Well, in the promo, she’ll tell Spencer, “I have a giant surprise for you.” We seriously see no good coming from that.

As for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), it seems his fears might have been exaggerated. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) offer Ned a position at ELQ/Aurora. Now, whether or not said position will be to Ned’s satisfaction, we don’t know.

Finally, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) looks like he’s trying to be a good son following his conversation with Michael. In the promo, Sonny asks Dante, “Is that code for watch your back?” We’re pretty sure the answer would be yes. And we have to give Dante props for giving Sonny a warning.
