ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has a very interesting proposal for his girlfriend, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). It’s one that of course includes their future together with his son, Baby Wiley. He wants to do whatever it takes to make sure that Wiley stays in his custody and as far away as possible from his ex, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Sofia Mattsson, who plays Sasha Gilmore on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “Sasha is very understanding of the situation and agrees that Wiley is the top priority. And being on the same page about that makes it easier to continue their relationship without any pressure.”

However, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that Michael wants to marry Sasha. Now, he wants to marry her for two different reasons. One, is that he obviously loves her. Two, he also wants to bolster whatever chances he has for full custody of Baby Wiley. Needless to say, Michael’s marriage proposal certainly catches Sasha by surprise.
Sofia adds, “It is very unexpected and sudden. Getting married is huge and something you want to do on your own terms. Michael and Sasha’s relationship is in such a great place as it is, they have an amazing thing going on and the main fear would be to do anything that might disrupt that. So the thought of it is both exciting and scary at the same time.”
With that said, Sofia adds that Sasha has a natural love for kids and especially for Wiley. And even though raising a child is not in her immediate plans, she’s willing to do whatever it takes to help the man that she loves so much. Of course, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
