ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for February 24th reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a meeting. Plus, we’ll see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in need. Besides that, we also have the fallout coming from the baby scam, as well as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) needing to make a call. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Support system
First off, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Sonny didn’t handle that divorce meeting well. He drank the pain away, then nearly drove himself home. Lucky for him, the fates stepped intervened in the form of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It’s honestly sad when the only one who seems to truly worry about Sonny and keep an eye on him is the woman who lied to him for the better part of a year, and is about as messed up in the head as he is.
But you can’t deny that she’s been good for him in some ways. Without Nina, Sonny might still be off his meds. And if someone in his family had bothered to do anything but ask if he’s okay, it might have taken way more than that shouting match at The Savoy. And it’s the second time Sonny could have been killed driving under the influence—or killed someone else.
With this latest encounter, it seems Nina’s trying to lighten the mood. She’ll say, “We really have to stop meeting like this.” And we honestly think you can’t handle him better than she’s been lately when he’s in a situation like that. We think he’ll appreciate the additional save, as he says, “You don’t have to go.” However, we’ll have to wait and see if this actually gets romantic between them.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Warnings and next steps
In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson Johnson) continues to prove to us she knows more about Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) than she lets on. In the promo, she warns Portia Robison (Brook Kerr), “Keep an eye out” and Portia responds, “For what?” We don’t see what else this would be about other than Marshall and the potential closeness between him and Curtis.
Related to this, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will tell Curtis, “Just say the world and we put my plan into play.” We assume there’s a good reason for this conversation. The teasers hint Marshall wonders if he overdid it. So, it looks like he might make a mistake that will intensify Curtis’ doubts.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: End of the road
As for the baby scam, the day Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) dreaded arrives. They’ll need to gather their strength as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) returns to claim her daughter. We just don’t see this going smoothly at all. Besides the unexpected pain Brook Lynn and Chase will deal with, Maxie is sure to have a rough time reconnecting with her daughter. We wouldn’t be surprised if she’ll need Brook Lynn more than ever now, as a way to ease the transition. And this will likely make Brook Lynn’s pain even worse.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Face off
Finally, Carly summons someone to her office. Given what’s in the promo, we assume it’s Ava and the thing she can’t believe is news of the divorce being a done deal. It seems like this meeting would likely be called with the best intentions—getting Ava involved in preparing her daughter for this upheaval. However, things quickly turn ugly. At least, if the promo is anything to go by. Carly will tell her, “You really want to test the flavor of the month against me?” Given how unimpressed Ava looks, we are going to say that’s a yes.
