ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal there is a really complicated situation going on. Several different characters are about to collide in a massive mess affecting ELQ. And the best part is, there’s a couple of unwitting pawns helping it along. So, what’s going down? How might it affect the family business going forward? Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Plot one
So, we have a couple of plots here. First off, we saw Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) trying to get her hands on some Quartermaine money. She and Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) tied the knot in Pentonville to stick it to their mutual enemy. It proved to be a smart move, as Shiloh’s death would have ended any issues with ELQ if Nelle wasn’t legally his wife and able to inherit anything his. While the stock issue is still being contested, Nelle’s looking to make some big money by taking a payout—for the right price. She’s doing this with the help of Martin Grey (Michael E. Kinght), creepy lawyer to the sleazy.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Plot two
Then, we have Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). This girl showed up and brought a lot of chaos into the house. No one knew what brought her back to town, and it seemed a lot of people would just as soon see her go. But we soon learned what her deal was. And, boy, was it a dumb one.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate the daughter of a former mayor and high up in a major company didn’t think to, you know, read a contract before she signed it. This turned out to be a huge mistake that leaves her at the mercy of a perv. After appearing to leave her hanging, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) stepped up. He arranged a meeting between the three of them to come to an agreement. He was going to offer a check to end the contract, but it doesn’t seem our poster boy for sexual harassment is open to the deal. Ned called his bluff, but is this going to be a huge mistake?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The twist
So, in the Friday, February 7th episode, we saw these two plots come together. Nelle, annoyed with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) offer for the stock, decided to call Martin and get the ball rolling on a sale—to someone else. What she doesn’t know is, she’s been getting used all this time. Martin’s been working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Link, the afore-mentioned producer. Martin called Valentin as soon as Nelle was ready to sell.
Meanwhile, Link got ahold of Martin and said Brooke Lynn is ready to do anything to get out of her contract. It seems Link’s really only been after the Quartermaine money all along, and Martin is in on it. Is there any angle this guy isn’t working? The question is, what’s Valentin’s angle here? He was working this before Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) returned to town and threw everything into chaos for him. Why did he want the ELQ money as well? And is he the person referenced by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), or is there an even bigger war ahead than we thought? You’ll have to tune in and see.
