ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin/Ryan Chamberlain) wants you to know the difference between getting the flu this year or getting ill from Covid-19. That’s because there is obviously a very huge difference between the two! Here’s what he has to say.

Sharing a photo of himself getting his flu shot at a local Walgreens, the talented actor wrote, “Hey beautiful peeps. Flu has symptoms very similar to Covid-19. Medical pros (including my cousin) expect a wave of people believing they have Covid to crowd the ERs this winter. Let’s do our part to help them. Get your flu shot.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Jon’s fans and followers to comment on his photo. Quite a few of them said, “Just got mine today! And the pneumonia shot too! Thank you for the public service announcement. Lots of people could benefit from your one tweet,” along with, “My husband and I got our shots yesterday. Bless us all.”

Another fan wrote, “Thank you so much for spreading the word. You are a great and talented actor and one of my favorites on ‘General Hospital’. And you are absolutely right. There are going to be a lot of people who just have the flu thinking that they actually have Covid-19. It’s going to be a nightmare for our doctors and nurses again. Thanks again for bringing this up.”

Let’s just hope that neither the flu nor Covid-19 catch up with our favorite characters in Port Charles! ‘General Hospital’ airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
