ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers tease that when Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is taken to the hospital to get the bullet out of him that he acquired in the shoot out at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, it is discovered in his wallet by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he has a photo of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borroughs) and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) together in his wallet. When asked about it, he says that he printed it off from his Mom’s social media page However, it is maintained that he knew nothing of the deal between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Gladys for Dev to pose as her grandson. And when Gladys is grilled about it she says that she lied about Brando being dead because of the shame she felt over them being estranged… but is that the real story? After all, they’ve lied before.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: It’s all a red herring – The No Camp
Well, considering Dev has talked about growing up in Turkey and his ‘real’ parents are supposedly turkish citizens that he doesn’t miss all that much then that doesn’t really lend that much to the theory that Brando is is real Dad. It’s entirely possible that Brando just printed the picture off his Mom’s social media just to have a picture of his Mom in his wallet. Although, if Gladys does have social media, then why not pick some of her other pictures where she’s alone and not with this kid who has no ties to him whatsoever? Certainly Gladys has more than one picture up, unless she’s not all that tech-saavy, in which case that could have been the only picture she had up on her social media that wasn’t severely outdated.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: People have lied about Paternity before – The Yes Camp
It could indeed be that whomever Dev’s Mother was got with an American who was visiting Turkey for whatever reason, in this case, Brando Corbin, and simply lied about the paternity in order to save face. This would have been easy to do if she were already married at the time. She could have just said that the baby was her husband’s and just kind of left the question of paternity hanging, people assuming that the turkish guy she was married to was the father of her baby. Although that begs the question, if Dev’s turkish Dad found out about his real paternity, is that the reason that Dev has no Mom? There’s a question.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The third theory
Supposedly, Sonny’s new enemy, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is going to call a meeting soon and when he does he’s going to ask Sonny to join forces. Sonny will decline his offer but the question is, why does Cyrus want to team up, is there something headed to Port Charles that’s extra vicious and blood thirsty that we should know about? My theory is whatever Cyrus wants Sonny to team up with him against is who Dev’s Father is. There’s going to be a mafia war and getting one’s kid back could definitely be a reason to incite one.
