She keeps trying to step up and be the one in charge, but there’s just one problem. Like with her kidnapping plot, these things are tending to blow up her in face. Is she now about to lose someone close to her because of her behavior?

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Carly has been a wreck since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) supposedly died. She puts the effort in, but she tends to act without thinking. And she’s usually going against what Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would do.
Like when she kidnapped Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mother. He’d been furious, but with the deed done, he had no choice but to go along for the ride. We still scratch our heads over the idea he let everyone think he’s the one who made the call. But the men in Carly’s life are apparently under a spell that makes them protect her beyond what they should do.
Now, Carly was forced to return her hostage. This did not make Jason happy, even though he did think she made the right call in that case. There really was no option. However, Carly wasn’t done making mistakes. She recently called in every favor Sonny was ever owed.
The goal? To put Jason and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) in the same cell. That way, he could stab Jason. We assume, given the lack of severity, she also called in some favors to get Jason sent to GH and have access to him. This is where things got a bit ugly.

Jason, needless to say, was not a fan of her idea. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal he called her out for getting him stabbed. Not to mention her idea of using this to orchestrate an escape. He pointed out that meeting with the Five Families as a fugitive isn’t a great idea.
Jason thought it was best to send him back to Pentonville. He and Shawn can watch each other’s backs. Carly disagreed, as there are no more favors to call in. But she made things way worse.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Had enough?
From the minute she and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) were in the same room as each other, she got aggressive. And it only got worse as the visit wore on. And it looked to wear on Jason’s nerves.
He sounded beyond frustrated and over it as he told Carly enough was enough. Considering Britt is a big ally right now, it’s definitely not wise to antagonize her. But Carly can’t resist holding on to a good grudge. He might have more reason to be upset.
Cyrus walked in on their visit. He expressed surprise that Carly was given access and even hinted that a change in guard might be necessary. This is not looking for Jason, as Cyrus has a lot of power both in Pentonville and GH.
There is no way he won’t use it, especially now that he got his mother back. It also complicates Britt helping, as Cyrus already questioned her more than once. Keeping Jason there too long and allowing these visits won’t help his view of her loyalty and usefulness.
We’ll see how badly this blows up in their faces. All we know is, we think Carly needs to watch it. It seems she’s testing Jason a bit too much, and at some point, he’ll have to step up and let her know exactly who’s calling the shots.
