ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is going to ask her old friend and ex-lover, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) for a favor soon. Since the old portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) went up in literal smoke, she wants him to commission a portrait of herself as the new head of the Cassadine Estate. Franco is willing to do this favor because he is genuinely concerned about his friend. He knows that Nik is bad news and doesn’t want Ava getting hurt because he knows how much she’s suffered in the wake of the death of her daughter Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) at the hands of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and doesn’t want to see her getting further hurt by Nik Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Thing is, wifey Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) doesn’t trust Ava with this request as far as she could throw her, but she realizes that Franco is a very frustrated artist. He hasn’t been able to create in a long time. I mean, he hasn’t had time to considering that his body was literally inhabited by someone else for the past few months and he just now managed to come back to her and give the Friz family a reboot. So she’s willing to let this slide just as long as it’s just for art’s sake.

Some might consider painting a girl’s portrait an intimate thing and it could indeed go in that direction. I’m not sure of Franco’s artistic process, some artists take photos and go from there but some artists prefer the old fashioned way of doing things where they have the models sit for hours, or days even, considering how elaborate people want their portraits. I don’t think Ava would go this way considering she has made it a clause in the marriage that there is to be no cheating but what if she threw caution to the wind and had Franco paint a nude portrait of her? Things could get heated between them, just sayin’ . Will all this time in close quarters serve to make Nik Cassadine jealous, even if there is no romantic contact? Stay tuned!!!
