ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we saw the end of the 2019 Nurses’ Ball Friday. This episode had so much going on, and led to significant moments for a lot of the characters. In particular, the Dawn of Day story and baby Wiley. We also saw Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) back in action, which we admit to loving. Let’s take a look at a couple of other bits that we loved.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Creative choice
To start off, we liked revisiting Ned and Olivia Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth/ Lisa LoCicero) performance. While her voice was a bit questionable to us, we loved Ned (as usual). And we thought the choices they made on stage were nice. As they sang about being closer to each other, they stood on opposite sides of a door. Eventually, they’d meet up and share a kiss but seeing one through a window while the other was up front was nice. Also, their playful run around the door was fun to watch. It shows how nice a couple they are. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see them both back in action when taping resumes. Although we still have a feeling there’s a time jump ahead.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Moving moment
Our favorite moment of the episode was seeing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) perform her song about taking that list she and Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) made for a ride. The lyrics were as touching now as they were when we first saw this episode. It was also performed perfectly by McCoy. It was also nice to see her family’s surprise and joy when they saw her go through with the performance. It was the beginning of Joss dealing with her loss, and we’re hopeful she’ll be even stronger when new episodes return. We still wouldn’t mind seeing a pairing between her and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Guardians
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal a very touching moment just before (and another during) her performance. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) obviously has a special association with the ball and he was in a great position to understand her feelings. He also wasn’t her mom or dad, which likely made her more willing to open up to him. But his story about Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) and how he feels Stone watching over him was probably the thing that pushed Joss to do the performance.
Then, we loved seeing Oscar appear to Joss during the song, giving her an approving nod. We’ve had a moment like that before, so it was nice to see that shown on the show. It also gave Joss and Sonny another thing to bond over. He was likely the only one who understood what she meant at the time when she referenced Oscar being there.
