Despite the fact that everyone is forced to stay at home, with millions out of work and many worried about the future, Maurice Benard and his publisher decided to release the book anyway. While the memoir has done a decent job of climbing the charts of the New York Times’ Bestsellers list, fellow soap star Melody Thomas Scott is not taking any chances. In fact, the actress just announced that she is postponing the release of her memoir to a later date, or at least until the coronavirus is no longer a threat and people are back in work.
