In his latest video, Jeffree Star admitted something that was a bit of a shocker, he said that while he was in Dominican Republic, he contracted COVID! He wasn’t the only one, a few of his staffers contracted COVID as well and he said that for a few weeks he felt like death warmed over, he had “the craziest fever” and apparently was having trouble breathing.
He tested positive for COVID-19. He said that it took a few weeks but that he eventually felt better. However, he has never re-tested. Oh Jeffree, I don’t know if I would have said that on my channel if I were you.

It doesn’t exactly look good for Jeffree if he’s never re-tested, even if he’s feeling 100% now and has apparently recovered from it, he employs a lot of people and he needs to confirm, at least to them, that he’s not endangering them.
The thing is, Jeffree Star has access to adequate testing and while he probably couldn’t access the Walter Reed medical team, with his amassed fortune he at least has a fighting chance of getting access to decent treatment and getting over this virus, even if he got it more than once.
If this were any other type of virus, I would say that maybe his entrourage now has a certain herd immunity, but that has not proven to be the case with COVID-19. We don’t know anything about how herd immunity even works with it or if that’s even a thing.
We do know however that multiple people have reported getting it more than once. So while Jefree could be fine, if I were him, since I had contracted it once and I employ a good amount of people to be exposed to me in my daily life, I would go get tested, at least once a month.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, whatever that cure looks like because right now… there is none. (Unless you’re the president of the United States apparently.)
In fact, Jeffree could even make a whole video about his adventure in COVID testing. He could take all his followers along on his quest to get tested because let’s face it not a lot of people do that. I’ve heard COVID testing is not exactly a pleasant experience and him taking one for the team for his followers could definitely illustrate some social responsibility on his part and maybe even take away some of the negative press he’s been getting lately, but, that’s only my idea.
Obviously whatever Jeffree chooses to do is between him and his doctor, but if there’s a COVID testing video that comes out soon, we’ll know where he got the idea from. Stay tuned!!!
