ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that while it might not seem like a good idea right now, there’s a chance that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might get back with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) after all. Here’s what you need to know.
In a new interview with TV Insider, actor James Patrick Stuart makes it no secret that if there’s one goal that his character has in life, it’s to win over the woman of his dreams yet again. While Nina Reeves is someone who has made plenty of mistakes in the past, is she willing to make another mistake in the name of Valentin Cassadine? For Valentin, it’s all about the art of persuasion.

Of course, fans are also wondering what might be the truth behind the half-necklace and just who Nina’s child might be. There’s a possibility that if Nina’s child is revealed, that person might play a role in reuniting them once and for all.
James told the site, “Valentin’s apologized from a place of true understanding that he’s hurt her. He’s been the architect of his own adversity. I think he’s willing to take the pain of watching her with someone else as penance. He deserves that, but I don’t think he’ll ever be truly done with Nina. It’s like that [Sting lyric from his song The Book of My Life] – ‘There’s a chapter on love where the ink ‘s never dry.’”
In other words, there might be a chance that Valentin might find his happiness in Port Charles after all. Because let’s face it – things have been anything but smooth for him this year.
James continued, “There was Nina pretending she was only going through with the wedding to stick the knife [in Valentin]. He also saw [his daughter] Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Hernandez) following in her father’s footsteps. He felt he needed to distance himself from her, as a result. It was a kick in the stomach seeing Charlotte going down that path.”
