ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that while things seem to still be hot and heavy for Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), their relationship might come to a screeching halt when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) goes back to reclaim what is rightfully his. Or at least, what he thinks belongs to him. Here’s what you need to know.
In a new interview with TV Insider, ‘General Hospital’ actor James Patrick Stuart admits something that every ‘General Hospital’ fans has known for the longest time now, and that Valentin is obsessed with the beautiful blonde.
When asked by the site why is Valentin so drawn to Nina, the actor replied with, “It goes back to when he first confided in Nina about his loneliness, isolation and physical abnormality. She’s witnessed his speech impediment. And she loved him all the more. He’s never been able to fathom not having her in his life. She’s the love of his life.”

Of course, the only thing getting in Valentin’s way right now is the fact that Nina is in a solid relationship with Jax. Or at least we think she’s in a solid relationship. James Patrick continued, “He can accept that Jax is a shiny object, but he can’t accept that he’s a permanent fixture in her life. It’s why he wanted to lay the foundation of a new empire for himself. As soon as he took over ELQ, the first person he wanted to tell as Nina.”
