    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for August 21st reveal we’ll deal a bit more with John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) health scare. Plus, we’re going to see Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) in need of a little advice, while Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) has a moment with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Plus, things are about to get real with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Let’s take a look at what the teasers reveal.

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 21: Update

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate there’s a focus on John tomorrow. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will be close by his friend’s side as he fights to recover. We love the friendship between them, and we anticipate some reminiscing during the episode. Plus, there’s bound to be a pep talk or two, with Steve begging his friend to fight his way back to them.

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 21: Advising Hope

    So, Thursday marked a bit of tension between Hope and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). As in, the good kind that leads to reunions. However, given both are leaving? We’re not holding out hope for a happy ending.

    The timing of the two announcements leads us to think they’ll be going their separate ways—especially since Hope was supposed to have what sounded like a new romance before Alfonso decided to leave. However, we will see them dancing around it at least. On Friday, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) give Hope advice about Rafe.

    This should be a fun moment between them all, as Hope and Jennifer in particular have a great rapport. We see Hope being very torn about the possibility of a reconciliation, but we also see Jennifer being 100% on board and telling Hope so. After all, she was unrelenting about Kayla and her own reunion with Steve. That will also likely come up.

    Meanwhile, August 21st marks what we assume is supposed to be Ben’s makeup appointment with Marlena. However, we’re not sure they’ll officially make it into her office this time, either. Besides John’s situation, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease Ben comforts Marlena.

    Sounds more like he’ll be playing therapist tomorrow, and if Marlena tries to turn things around, we think Ben’s controlled self will insist on forgetting the appointment, given the circumstances.

    Finally, Eve marks the anniversary of her daughter’s death to end the week. Could this be the return they hinted at? A vision of her daughter? If so, this could get interesting. They did something like that a while ago on ‘General Hospital’ and it led to some great acting, not to mention a little soul-searching for the character who received the visit.

    This should be a great way to try setting Eve on the right path, while giving DePaiva even more of a chance to shine as an actress.
