ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the Nurses Ball continues August 19th. Before we get into what the teaser/previews have to say, we have to take a moment to recognize once more how nice GH looks. Except for a bunch of beating us over the head with essential/frontline worker talk, you’d barely know anything was up.
We also love how they got creative in pulling off the Nurses Ball by turning it into a telethon instead. It was a nice, natural way to get around a ton of crowded tables in the scenes.
They did something similar in the custody decision by having Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) demand a closed hearing and fire her lawyer. It was such a Nelle move, and reduced the number of people in the scenes. Take notes, other show runners.

So, let’s start off with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and some potential trouble ahead. She notes that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are cutting it a little close. Is Trina performing and they got tied up with last-minute rehearsal?
Or did they maybe get distracted with each other? We’ll have to wait and see. What we do know is, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will try to connect with Trina. We assume he might try to apologize for Jordan Ashford’s recent endorsement of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
However, it seems at least one person won’t be impressed. Portia will question Jordan’s behavior, so we’re guessing Cyrus will either make an appearance and make Jordan tense, or she’ll be getting phone calls she has to keep sneaking away to take.

It looks like the second option seems very likely. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal there’s a scene in the preview where Jordan tells someone to trust her to take care of this. This seems most likely to be Curtis, since he knows the story. Although, it could also be Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Also, General Hospital spoilers reveal Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) are stepping up to fill the relationship drama quota. In the promo, he wants to know if Elizabeth is mad at him, and she asks if she should be. Wow.
What a childish reply. We honestly don’t like where they’re going with this, because it’s not making either one look particularly great. But it’s making Elizabeth look like a selfish shrew. Yes, there’s a lot of baggage with his past, but he clearly has a passion for art and wants to be out there again as an artist.
That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s changing into a famewhore or going back to his murderer ways. It just means he wants to get back to his mail love and help support the family. If she can’t be supportive, we have a feeling she’ll push him away. Or send him on a bad path.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 19: Nearing the end?
Finally, let’s talk about Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). He overheard a damning conversation Tuesday, and it will definitely be part of the story Wednesday. Apparently, Spinelli thinks it’s imperative Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) knows. Obviously, about his connection to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
It looks like there’s a good chance he does tell her, because Maxie isn’t sure what to make of all of “this”.
