ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate JaSam is basically sunk. At least, for now. Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) latest attempt to get out of her parole restrictions seriously crossed a line. And we think Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) knows it. It’s a good thing those kids have him around because we think he’s the more reasonable one. Here’s why.

We get Sam, to an extent. Her situation is kind of unfair. But the truth is, it might not be totally undeserved. While Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) actions are behind her jail stint, she isn’t 100% innocent here. She claimed self-defense and all, but she admitted flat out to Jason that she all she could think about in that moment was getting rid of Shiloh for good. Not that Jason was in imminent danger. Not that she thought she had to do it right then to stop Jason from being murdered. She just wanted him gone. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wasn’t really off-base when she basically told Sam to get over it and deal with the situation. Especially when she resorted to what she did.

Her latest plan shows she is not thinking clearly at all. She knows she has a by-the-books parole officer in charge here. The fact she actually believed she could blackmail her way out of those restrictions is almost as laughable as letting Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) do the tailing. It crossed a line that could have landed her behind bars that night. It makes us question Sam as a mom.

Here’s the thing. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Sam has tunnel vision right now. And we don’t see any signs of that changing any time soon. Despite knowing the risks, all she can think about is being free to spend time with Jason. Yes, she’s in love and it’s understandable for this to hurt. But she’s a mother first and foremost. Her actions show she’s not putting the kids’ best interest at heart. Luckily, they have someone who is.

Jason is definitely the more level-headed one right now. When Sam was ready to run away, Jason talked her down. He put the kids first and pointed out what that would mean for them. He had to do the same thing this week when he learned about how close Sam came to going back to jail. He was the one who had to yet again remind her of the kids and what her landing herself back behind bars means for them. As well as what it means for her with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in the picture. She’s connected to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), after all. It’s not safe to be where he can so easily arrange something. So what’s this mean?
‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Jason will say “I can’t do this anymore.” We think he might be referring to this situation with Sam. He’s seen her go back to being reckless again after he talked her down from running away. We believe he sees she won’t just give in, and he sees how much she’s going to hurt herself with this. We think Jason might just put a brake on things for a while for their own good—kids included. And we think he’d be right to do it. Whether Sam will go along is a whole other story…
