While there are many General Hospital fans at home right now either social distancing, in self-quarantine or simply staying home to do their part to help stop the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), a lot of them can’t help but wonder what this means for their favorite soap – and how long they will be able to enjoy new episodes, seeing how the cast and crew have suspended production because of the virus as well. Well, it looks like we have good news, even if it’s temporary good news, to share. Here’s what you need to know.
According to General Hospital actress Nancy Lee Grahn, she believes that the highly-rated daytime television show has enough episodes to air until at least May 21. In fact, Nancy also tweeted back on March 14th – which happened to be the last day that the cast taped their last episode before the coronavirus quarantine – that they had enough episodes to run for at least the next several weeks.

And while ‘General Hospital’ producers have made comments about what they plan on doing next, fans are hopeful. During a time in which many people can’t leave the house, they surely appreciate all of the good soap entertainment that they can get! That’s why The Young and the Restless has said that they plan on airing classic episodes until they get to catch up. So far, The Bold and the Beautiful producers have made no comments and it’s been noted that Days of Our Lives tapes six months in advance.
