Here we go again, as Meghan Markle is shamelessly profiting off her royal title. She is apparently set to hold a “Meet Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” event next month in Australia.
Meghan Is the “Main Event” at a Meet and Greet In Sydney In April
Royal experts have dubbed the Duchess “Fergie 2.0”. Like Sarah Ferguson, she’s capitalizing on the royal family, which the late Queen made clear to Prince Harry and Meghan was a huge no-no.
The royals who have been the most offensive in capitalizing their titles have been the York family.
The echoes between Meghan and Sarah are especially obvious. Meghan serving up a weekend of public fawning over her is obviously a shameless cash grab.
The experience will be a “special VIP event” in which tickets will cost 1,705 Australian dollars to meet Meghan and get a “group photo with Meghan.”
For a very high price, twin-bed accommodations are also available for a two-night stay in Sydney.
It seems that Harry and Meghan have been
“reduced to undertaking meet and greet photo opportunities,”
as the Daily Mail pointed out so astutely.
The other point that Brittany from Royal News Network made was that this wouldn’t look so bad if Harry and Meghan actually had a project to promote, but they don’t.
Their deal with Netflix is over, and sources close to Meghan claim that her brand, As Ever, is done. So, what exactly is the purpose of this trip?
Harry Is Due to Speak at a “Workplace Mental Health Summit.”
They had no real reason to be in Australia, despite their going on yet another quasi-royal tour to the land down under.
That said, Harry is due to speak at a “workplace mental health summit” in Melbourne. Meghan’s event is billed as “a girl’s weekend like no other.”
Meghan will be the headline speaker on April 17th at the “Her Best Life Retreat” at Coogee Beach. The Daily Mail reported, “Meghan is understood to have reached out to the organizer, Her Best Life host, Gemma O’Neill, after being put in touch by a mutual friend” named Marcus. The presenter revealed that she initially said no but realized that “her audience deserved Meghan.”
The truth behind all this is that these people are obviously shallow grifters. Gemma feels that Meghan received a lot of criticism while in the royal family, that she, quote, unquote, “didn’t deserve.”
When listening to the drivel that Gemma put out there, it’s obvious she has no idea who Meghan is. There are numerous sources that attest to Meghan’s greed and consistent bullying of others.
Not to mention, the charity work is done only when a camera is following Meghan around. She closed her own charity, Archewell, because she wasn’t making enough money.
Meghan Does Charity Work for Public Attention and Accolades
Meghan does her charity work solely for Instagram clicks and public attention. It’s much more about her own ego than about benefiting others.
Meghan drops charities on a whim when it no longer suits her to do the work. Harry and Meghan appear to be desperately “fishing” for stuff to do. They have no jobs. Meghan’s entire career has only been about self-promotion.
She also has projects she could be producing, but she clearly doesn’t want to do the work. Gemma also added that she “admires Meghan for what she’s endured.”
Meghan is someone who “has been pushed down but has still risen.” The whole meet-and-greet event sounds incredibly weird. Gemma claims that Meghan is doing this event for free, but that is highly doubtful.
It’s presented like this: Meghan happens to be going to Australia, and she wants to do something for the community by showing up so people can pay to “meet Meghan” and take pictures with her. This is likely the entire purpose of Harry and Meghan’s trip.
It’s hard to believe that just five years ago, Harry and Meghan had the opportunity of a lifetime to make a 100-million-dollar deal with Netflix to produce their projects, which ended in disaster.
It should come as no surprise to anyone that Meghan Markle is now selling herself to the highest bidder. Or as Brittany from Royal News Network called it, “Come see me and give me money.”
