‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Why Fans Are Clamoring for Sasha to Return to Port Charles

‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that fans are clamoring for Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to return to Port Charles. Sofia left her role as Sasha in July 2025. Since then, a lot has changed.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sofia and Rory Had Major Chemistry

First and foremost, Sofia’s on-screen father, Tristian Rogers, who played Robert Scorpio, passed away about one month after Mattsson left GH to explore other opportunities. The actor died at age 79 after a battle with lung cancer.

We imagine that GH plans to have a farewell tribute for Rogers. Some have speculated that Robert may be killed searching for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

That aside, Sasha is Robert’s daughter. When GH does give Robert a proper sendoff, obviously, Sasha should be there.

Granted, Sasha had only found out a few months before going to live with him in France that Robert was her father. Any kind of funeral and/or celebration of his life wouldn’t be complete without Sasha.

Now, let’s talk about the pink elephant in the room: Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). We’ve given his “relationship” with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) a chance.

Sadly, Jacinda Bracken is no match for Sasha Corbin. While she’s not an unlikeable character, the sizzle between her and Michael pales in comparison to what Sasha and Michael shared.

Sofia and Rory had major chemistry and looked beautiful together. It’s a shame that they didn’t have the opportunity to explore that chemistry. Rory had even bigger sparks with Sofia than Chad Duell did with her.

Sasha and Michael should be a family with their daughter, Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford), and Michael’s children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: We Were Cheated Out of Michael and Sasha’s Happily Ever After Twice

We were cheated out of Sasha and Michael’s happily ever after twice. The first time, Sasha unselfishly paved the way for Michael and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) to get together so they could win custody of Wiley.

Unfortunately, Michael was foolish enough to cast Sasha aside to be with Willow. The second time, Sasha left town with Daisy in tow, also thanks to Willow’s machinations.

    Willow stalks Daisy

Sasha mistakenly believed that someone was trying to send a message to Michael’s father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), by messing with Daisy.

So, Sasha packed her bags and took Michael’s daughter to live with her parents, Robert and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Sasha and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shared a bittersweet goodbye.

Jason had helped keep the paternity of Sasha’s baby with Michael a secret for as long as possible by pretending to be the father.

Plus, Sasha still has some family in PC. Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Felicia Scorpio (Kristin Wagner), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) would be thrilled to have Sasha back in town.

Sasha should come back to reclaim her rightful place as one of the most likable heroines on the soap. Sofia’s portrayal has always been honest, emotional, and raw.

Not to mention, if anyone can uncover the truth about Willow and what she’s really up to, it’s got to be Sasha. It would be gratifying to see her bust Willow.

That said, there are a million storyline possibilities for Sasha if she were to return to Port Charles. Out of all the characters on GH, past and present, Sasha is probably the one who is the most deserving of a happy ending.
