‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen and EJ Wage War On Each Other as The Rest of the DiMera Family Unites
In a new interview with TV LINE, co-head writers Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford give us the 411 on what’s going down and what to expect this year on the Peacock soap.
“DOOL’s renewal “Offers relief and opportunity. As fans first, we are thrilled for the audience, cast, crew, and Ken Corday, who has made tremendous sacrifices to keep the show in the air.”
They added,
“We are grateful for Peacock’s support and their faith in Days. Knowing that we have a two-year pickup gives us much greater ability to plan ahead and breathe.”
Her legal situation needs to change now that she’s off the hook for EJ’s shooting. Additionally, Kristen will continue to blame EJ for Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) time in Bayview. Her fury toward EJ leads to major ramifications.
The scribes also pointed out that nothing good will come from Rachel’s friendship with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). They may try to escape from the sanitarium.

Meanwhile, EJ and Gwen von Leuschner’s (Emily O’Brien) plans for the lab are interrupted. Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) and EJ grow closer, and they may eventually sizzle together.
Dimitri von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) return rocks the boat and “directly impacts” the future of Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). Gwen and Leo will both want revenge, which may lead to unintended consequences.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) andSarah Horton(Linsey Godfrey) fall into a serious relationship. However, Sarah’s feelings for her true love, Xander Kiriakis(Paul Telfer), can’t be too far behind her. Meanwhile, Xander tries his best to move on.
Holly Jonas(Ashley Puzmis) will find herself as Sophia’s target once again. Tate Black (Leo Howard) intervenes to stop her.
Also, Marlena Evans(Deidre Hall) is involved in a significant, life-changing quest. However, she’ll continue to grieve for her late husband, John Black(Drake Hogestyn).

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) run into some trouble as Johnny fears for Chanel during her pregnancy. They will have a rollercoaster of a year, filled with complicated emotions.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) face an unexpected challenge. As a result, Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) life is “turned upside down.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: HUGE Casting Changees Are Made as New Actors Debut
Some huge casting changes are on the horizon: Alice Halsey, who plays Rachel Black, is leaving the show. A new Rachel arrives on the canvas in March.
Conner Floyd steps into the role of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in April. Arianna Horton(Marissa Reyes) is also being recast, with the new Ari debuting in April.
Also, Thomas DiMera(Cary Christopher) has exited from the soap. The role of Thomas is also being recast. We have to wonder if any of these characters will be SORAS.
One character who definitely won’t be SORAS’d is Javi Hernandez. However, Al Calderon has left the soap to star in the show, Brilliant Minds.
The new Javi is thought to be Jacob Martinez, though no official announcement has been made. We’ll see him debut in May.
