Prince William made a sweet remark about Kate Middleton,

“Behind every average man is an even better wife,”

    He gushed.

William Visited the Local Charity, Youth Shedz

The Prince of Wales, who celebrated his 14th anniversary this year, made a solo trip to North Wales on Tuesday.

The Prince of Wales was meeting with a local charity. The charity helps young people who have been confronted by challenges, like homelessness and bullying.

The future King said this during a conversation with a youth club leader. He was speaking to Scott Jenkinson, the founder of Youth Shedz, and his wife, Sian. William told them he felt it was essential to have a strong, supportive spouse by your side.

Scott had some challenges with homelessness and addiction. Sian said,

“He has done well to turn his life around.”

    Her husband retorted,

“With my wife beside me, you know that.”

    William agreed and said,

“Behind every average man is an even better wife.”

Scott showed the Prince around and explained the charity’s group activities, including gaming, cooking, 3D printing, and podcasting.

William and Catherine are also big advocates of limiting their children’s screen time. He spoke about how his family sits down to eat dinner together every night, no exceptions.

    He said,

“Children shouldn’t be by screens or disappearing elsewhere.”

William also spoke with the children about how the project has helped them with isolation and education.

William Strolled on the Beach with Members of the Marine Conservation Society’s Youth Ocean Network

Later that day, the Prince of Wales also strolled down Colwyn Beach with members of the Marine Conservation Society’s Youth Ocean Network.

The area holds great significance to William. Prince William worked as a Search and Rescue pilot at the Royal Air Force between 2010 and 2013.

William left the Armed Forces in 2013. From there, he served as a pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Afterward, he decided to become a full-time working royal.

The Marine Conservation Society recently concluded a project in which young people engaged with coastal communities, boosted ocean literacy, and improved sustainable management of the local marine heritage.

The project also taught those involved about the many advantages of connecting with the ocean. The youth network comprises a team of young people aged 13 to 25 who live by the ocean and work with the Marine Conservation Society.

The Director of the Marine Conservation Society Praised William’s Engagement

William strolled along the beach and stopped by a local restaurant to greet people. The director of the Marine Conservation Society, Gareth Cunningham, praised William’s interest in the charity and his willingness to listen,

“There was proper engagement. You could see he was really passionate about the project and encouraging us to do more as well.”

Cunningham went on to talk about the significance of the area. He added,

“The whole bay here is globally important for sea birds, it is a significant bit of coastline, but it’s about how we regenerate the sea, and how do we do that with people’s engagement?”

    He continued,

“So, it’s starting to bring back the oysters and other species, that will clean up the water, but also doing it in a way that will help people’s health, their engagement, their well-being, and their livelihoods as well.”

The Prince’s solo outing comes after he and Princess Kate attended the Royal Variety Show, where they interacted amusingly with Paddington Bear.
