‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) was horrified when Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) showed up at her door, asking if she was really the erotic novelist everyone has been buzzing about, Anastasia Sands.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Alex Encouraged Stephanie To Follow Her Dreams
Right now, only a handful of people know that Stephanie wrote One Stormy Night. However, that is all about to change. As Salem’s most creative PR agent, Stephanie knows that the best way to get ahead of a scandal is to reveal the truth before someone else does.
Stephanie and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) brainstormed in the October 17th episode, and Alex advised her to announce to the world who Anastasia Sands really is and become a full-time writer. He encouraged her to follow her dreams.
She not only wrote a steamy novel but also penned a mystery that’s about to be released. Alex has a point that her true passion is being a writer, and now that the cat is out of the bag, she may as well admit she’s the woman who wrote these novels.
Plus, Julie Williams is planning to host a book signing at the bookstore she purchased from Foster (Miles Anderson) during their grand reopening. He suggested she stop hiding and expose the truth.
Stephanie is also ready to blame the wrong person for compromising her identity. She thinks Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) blabbed since he clearly recognized the passages in One Stormy Night that depicted, shall we say, some naughty aspects of their past relationship.
However, we all know that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel) is the one who spilled Stephanie’s secret. Leo has journalistic integrity and can’t reveal the source who tipped him off. Stephanie and Alex now need to come up with the best way to bring her truth to light and pursue her dreams.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stephanie Should Reveal Herself As Anastasia Sands Before Leo Does
Stephanie may be worried about her reputation for now, but she’ll soon see that telling everyone before Leo writes a piece about her sexy side gig is the smartest way to proceed.
We have to wonder how EJ will explain his big mouth to Stephanie when she finds out that EJ blabbed. EJ was simply trying to distract Leo from asking him questions about who really shot him, or publishing his piece on EJ being responsible for the Salem power outage a couple of weeks ago.
Yet, it wasn’t cool that EJ outed her. He could have done literally anything else other than sell out Stephanie. Even if he continued the conversation about Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) with Leo, it would have saved him from further interrogation.
Speaking of EJ and Leo, the scenes they shared on October 16th were pure gold. They are both quick-witted and humorous, and their back-and-forth was highly entertaining.
Between Leo’s laser-fast dialogue and EJ’s deliciously smug attitude, it’s always a treat to see them in scenes together.
Of course, we know that Stephanie would rather tell everyone that she’s the author of One Stormy Night than have Leo expose her.
It’s going to be very interesting to see how Stephanie handles the situation. Either way, Salem is about to discover the identity of Anastasia Sands.
