‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) seemed very flirty with his brother, Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) sort of girlfriend, Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rafe And Cat Are Investigating EJ’s Purchase Of University Hospital
The pair shared a few glasses of wine and a meal at the Bistro. During their lunch, EJ admitted to her that he bid on her at the hospital auction because he wanted to go on a date with her.
Interestingly, he was in a relationship with Belle Black (Martha Madison) at the time. However, EJ was unaware that Chad has feelings for Cat, especially not after she impersonated his dead wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller).
EJ ended up giving his date to Chad. The odd aspect of EJ’s apparent fascination with Cat is that she got away with pretending to be Abigail, which intrigued him.
EJ told Cat that he was impressed by what she did to trick his brother into believing she was Abigail. It was an unusual comment that caught Cat off guard.
Meanwhile, Chad and Cat are embarking on a slow-burn romance that we’ve been enjoying. It may seem old-fashioned, but they have chemistry in a sweet and adorable kind of way.
The problem? Cat also has chemistry with EJ. It’s the dark and dangerous kind of spark that often leads to a steamy, forbidden, and passionate encounter. Cat is clearly enticed by EJ’s charm.
That said, Cat should remember that Chad took a long time to forgive her after what she did. Cat has been lying to Chad about what’s going on with her.
Cat works for the ISA. She is Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) partner in the organization. Chad obviously doesn’t know this, but perhaps EJ does.
It would be just like EJ to suspect a secret like that, or even suspect he’s being investigated and seductively flirt with the pretty young woman who’s posing as his assistant.

EJ may also be on the rebound from his former lady love, Belle. EJ and Cat seemed to enjoy each other’s company. Perhaps a little too much. ‘
What we’re worried about here the most is that Cat could really hurt Chad yet again, which we wouldn’t want to see again. Chad and Cat have potential.
Cat may be playing with fire if EJ thinks for a second that Cat might betray him. Additionally, Cat’s kittenish and flirty banter with EJ made it seem as though she’s drawn to him in some way.
It would be very soapy if a new love triangle between EJ, Cat, and Chad were to form. However, EJ may have an ulterior motive, like he usually does.
EJ has also been feeding Cat fake information, and she’s been reporting back to Rafe. His flirtation with Cat could be a DiMera power play.
We don’t doubt that EJ is attracted to the blonde bombshell. However, we do have to wonder if he is suspicious that Cat is investigating him. He may even know he’s on the FBI’s radar.
EJ purchased University Hospital, but he wasn’t in a position financially to buy it outright. It’s got to be a dirty deal for a self-serving reason. EJ has a history of shady dealings. Not to mention, the DiMera family has an extensive history of criminal activity.
Plus, we didn’t exactly have to put on our big surprise face when it was confirmed that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was the one who facilitated helping EJ seal the deal and acquire the hospital.
Hopefully, Cat realizes that what she has with Chad is more important to her than a mission. Chad is truly smitten with Cat, and it would be a shame for him to lose her to his bad-boy brother. It looks like Chad is finally ready to move on from Abigail, and Cat may be his next true love.
