‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that the week of June 30th, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) will be targeted as a fire erupts at Charlie’s Pub.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell Wants Revenge On Sonny For His Decision Not To Relinquish Control Of His Piers
Our money is on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) being responsible for the blaze. As we saw on Friday, June 27th, we saw Sidwell was sifting through photos of Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) family.
He was furious that Sonny refused to sell him his piers, as he supposedly has big plans for Port Charles, and Sonny is currently in his way.
It’s obvious that Sidwell plans to send a message to Sonny not to cross him and decides the best way to get Sonny’s attention is to set Charlie’s Pub ablaze.
“Someone” breaks a window and starts a fire. We have a theory that Kristina may be in the Pub at the time of the fire and land in serious danger.
It’s going to be incredibly scary for Sonny and Kristina’s loved ones once he realizes that Kristina is in the bar.
As long as Sidwell is around, no one in Sonny’s family is safe. After the incident, Sonny vows revenge. It won’t take him long to connect the dots and figure out that Sidwell is the culprit.
We have to wonder if Kristina will be seriously injured as she’s dragged into her father’s dangerous orbit due to his enemies retaliating once again.
This certainly isn’t the first time Sonny’s children have landed in perilous situations due to Sonny’s world of violence. In fact, injuries and near-fatal incidents are par for the course when it comes to the mob boss.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Has Often Been Caught In The Crossfire Due To Sonny’s Dangerous Choice Of Career
When Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was younger, he was shot and lapsed into a coma after an attempt on Sonny’s life.
Of course, he also recently sustained life-threatening burns after a bomb exploded at Sonny’s penthouse, causing a fire and leaving Michael to fight for his life.
Thankfully, he was sent to a top-notch burn clinic in Germany and made a miraculous recovery. We believe Sidwell is responsible for that attack on the kingpin.
In addition to brother Michael’s misfortune, Kristina herself was kidnapped by Faith Roscoe (Cynthia Preston). Her brothers, Michael and late Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) were abducted with her when she was a little girl.
Sonny’s rival, Anthony Zacchara (Bruce Weitz), threatened her. She was involved in a car bomb explosion due to Sonny being “irked” by her “dating” Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash). The blast nearly killed Kristina.
Of course, Sonny’s son, Morgan, was killed in a car bomb meant for another mob rival, Julain Jerome (William deVry). However, it wasn’t Sonny’s fault, as the bomb was planted by Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker).
However, Morgan’s death serves as a powerful reminder of the violence surrounding Sonny’s life. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has repeatedly warned Sonny that they need to get out of the organization.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Last Thing Kristina Needs Is To Experience More Trauma
Jason doesn’t want Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to end up like Michael or Morgan. That said, we still don’t see Sonny preparing his mob exit strategy. He’s too comfortable in the business to retire.
If Kristina gets caught up in the fire and is nearly killed, it will no doubt perpetuate her already existing and significant trauma. Kristina is one nut shy of a candy bar and is one traumatic incident away from heading to Ferncliff.
First, she fell out of a window. Then, her baby died. Then, her sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), was killed.
Kristina is also on the hook with Ava Jerome (Maura West), Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). She caused the accident that almost killed Elizabeth and Ric. She has enough problems.
Despite Sonny’s desire to protect Port Charles from Sidwell, his lifestyle has placed his kids’ lives in jeopardy. If Kristina is harmed in the fire at Charlie’s, we can only hope she makes it out alive and in one piece.
