‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may soon find out that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) tried to kill Ava Jerome (Maura West) but hurt Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) instead.

He will likely also learn that Ava is now blackmailing Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and Alexis agreed to it to keep Kristina out of jail or a mental institution.
We’re still not sure why Alexis didn’t opt to go to Sonny in the first place, as he would have shut Ava down in no time.
Unfortunately, the mob boss has no idea what Ava and Ric are getting away with because Alexis foolishly chose to handle Ava herself. Sonny wouldn’t allow Ava to threaten Kristina’s freedom.
That being said, we all know why Kristina snapped. Sonny was having a medical episode, and Ava stood by, taunting him and doing nothing to help him.
We can only hope the dimpled don’s heart can withstand the truth. Sonny doesn’t like being kept out of the loop where his children are concerned, and Alexis should have been upfront with him about what has been going on with Kristina.
Kristina’s actions were an obvious cry for help, and she needs more invasive therapy and to be evaluated for a mental health disorder and possibly even medicated.
Kristina has never worked through the trauma of back- to -back tragedies: losing her baby girl and her sister Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death.
Experiencing one of those devastating events alone is enough to send someone over the edge, not to mention her father’s heart troubles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Understands How Mental Health Issues Can Cause A Break With Reality
While Sonny wouldn’t care if his half-brother, Ric, disappeared from the face of the earth, he would no doubt care about Elizabeth.
The head nurse is not only the girlfriend of his good friend, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), but she is also the mother of one of his best friends, Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) children.
Sonny would never let his daughter set foot in prison. As the daughter of a major kingpin, Kristina would be a target.
However, he may agree that she should stay in a mental facility to get her head on straight. Sonny understands mental health issues, as he has suffered with his demons.
The crime boss has bipolar disorder and has been taking medication for years. If anyone would understand Kristina’s struggles, motivations, and quest for revenge, it’s Sonny.
The pain Kristina felt when her daughter died shortly after birth was palpable. She’s also missing the loving, caring big sister who always made sure she was okay.
Sam was the one who urged Kristina to go into therapy. She stood by Kristina when her other sister, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), couldn’t.
Kristina and Molly have since made peace and become real sisters again, but if Molly were to discover Kristina’s role in her father’s accident, she may not be so forgiving.
If Sonny found out that Ava was using Kristina’s breakdown to her advantage and blackmailing her mother, you can bet there would be consequences.
Sonny has basically tolerated Ava’s shenanigans for years for the sake of the child they share, but Sonny may be the only one who can finally put Ava in her place.
