‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting mystery has finally begun. On Thursday, April 2nd, everyone in town was talking about how they wanted to see EJ pay.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ava Was Outside The DiMera Mansion With A Gun
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was seen outside the DiMera mansion fondling the gun Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) gave her.
Prior to that, she was in her room above the Brady Pub, looking at the DiMera expose Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) wrote and muttering to herself that EJ wouldn’t get away with his crimes this time.
In fact, it’s awfully suspect that Ava leaves Salem the same day EJ is shot. However, we’re not so convinced the culprit is Ava.
There are too many other suspects in town with even more of an ax to grind with EJ. A few of them, like Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), admitted they could kill him.
Even EJ’s son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), told Roman that when his father showed up at Paulina Dupree’s (Jackee Harry) home to apologize to him, he felt like taking the knife on the table and stabbing him to death.
The last person to confront EJ was Johnny’s wife, Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens). She lashed out at him for ruining her and Johnny’s chance to adopt Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) baby.
Whoever walked into the mansion, EJ was shocked to see them. He wouldn’t be shocked and afraid of his own son, though. We can easily deduce that Johnny wasn’t the one who was there.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen Wants EJ To Pay For Whatever He May Have Done To Her Mother
It may have been Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk). She may even have the most motive as EJ insinuated that either he killed her mother or made her disappear. This was right after Kristen and her previously presumed dead mother were reunited after years apart.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) could also be counted out since we know they are pursuing the legal route to nail EJ. Two by-the-book cops wouldn’t suddenly snap no matter what EJ did to them.
Gabi is a wildcard, but her brother is home safe now after EJ held him hostage at Aremid. If there would have been any time in which she would have blown his head off, it would have been when she was fearful of what EJ may have done to Rafe.
Besides, Gabi recently earned back her freedom. That is after the crooked district attorney EJ wrongfully sent her to prison, but hey, moving on.
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is another suspect. EJ came to the Pub and threatened to hurt her children after she told Johnny that EJ had raped his mother, Sami Brady (Allison Sweeny), and that’s the unfortunate truth about how he was conceived.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Everyone In Town Wants EJ To Face Justice One Way Or Another
Paulina is the mayor, but she’s also a fierce and protective mother. After what EJ did to Johnny and Chanel, she might take matters into her own hands.
Besides, EJ seems to be getting away with the insidious Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) Rafe imposter switch. EJ has managed to evade justice for too long. Paulina is disgusted with him.
Another wildcard suspect is Sami. She’s slated to arrive in Salem soon to support Johnny after learning the horrifying truth about his father, and perhaps she feels shooting EJ is a necessary evil to protect her son.
Despite not wanting Johnny to find out what EJ did to her decades ago, Johnny is in significant pain, and that’s all because of EJ. Maybe Sami plans to end that pain. Another potential suspect is an enemy of the DiMera family. It would be a long list of rival families or victims.
All that said, it looks like Ava is seen disposing of a gun the day EJ is shot. However, we think it’s a clever diversion tactic the soap will use to throw viewers off their game.
Everyone in town is furious with EJ, and almost everyone in town has a motive to kill him. It will be fun to see how it all plays out.
