General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 31 reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) isn’t happy to be kept in the dark. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a request. Plus, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might have overstepped. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 31: Out of the loop?
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante confronts Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He’ll be upset about getting locked out of Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) murder investigation. We haven’t agreed with Anna on much for a long time. However, we think she’s likely doing the right thing. He’s too close and needs to keep some distance between him and the investigation. Really, he should get the same access Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) would get to information about the case and no more.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 31: Custody drama
Elsewhere, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is determined to see Ava lose the custody case. Not a surprise there! She’ll talk to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about the situation, obviously planning to make sure her testimony is as damaging to Ava as possible. But she might not know what’s going on behind the scenes.
See, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Ava make a plea. Clearly, there will be a motion to give Ava temporary emergency custody after the attack on Sonny’s. At least, if they’re following logic, that would be the next move. While nothing happened to Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), it was more a matter of luck than anything that she was at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) at the time the bomb went off.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 31: Food for thought
In other General Hospital spoilers Laura Collins (Genie Francis) gives Lulu food for thought. Since they’re discussing her potential feelings for Dante, we think she might not want her daughter to just give up just like that. However, we see a lot of problems ahead if Lulu does make her feelings known.
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 31: More harm than good?
Finally, Trina apparently makes a bit of a mistake. In the promo, she’s visiting Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup). We guess mom’s input hasn’t had the desired effect. In the promo, Kai says Trina thinks she’s helping, but she’s not. We can’t help buy wonder if Kai feels like he shouldn’t get his hopes up and this search for multiple opinions might just lead to more heartbreak for him. He would likely feel it’s better if he just moves on, rather than face a letdown. But knowing Trina, she’ll be all for exploring all the options.
