‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest Jack Brennan (Charles Measure) may be testing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) for WSB recruitment.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Gave Joss An “Assignment”
Joss was introduced to the charming Jack Brennan when her mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), invited him to her house for Christmas.
Brennan appeared to be very impressed with Josslyn. She has her mother’s passion and tenacity, which would help her should she ever want to become an international spy.
It would be more fun for Joss than following through with her plans to become a doctor. She’s been wishy-washy about dedicating herself to that profession anyway.
Brennan looked at the recording of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) knifing Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) at Rice Plaza. He already knows who committed the crime.
Why would Brennan assign his current crush, Carly’s daughter, to a task for her to find the information on her own when he already knows who put Dex in the hospital?
When Joss was at the hospital checking on her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), she ran into Brennan, who told her Dex’s stabbing and subsequent murder was a case for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the PCPD.
Joss refuses to sit around and do nothing while her boyfriend’s killer is still out there. Brennan can sense that Joss is just like her mother and doesn’t back down when she’s determined.
Instead of revealing to her that he saw the face of the person who stabbed Dex, he gave her an assignment. He sent her a witness listing from Rice Plaza that day.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss Has Her Mother’s Fire In Her
Joss said she knew some of the people on the list and spotted Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) at the hospital desk and went to ask her questions.
Felicia was extremely helpful. She remembered that the bells stopped ringing at Rice Plaza when Dex was stabbed. As Brennan watched on, he saw a future super spy in the making.
Anna recently screamed at Brennan to stay away from Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner), tased him, and handcuffed him to a chair, issuing a stern warning to him that her granddaughter was off limits.
Anna knows the WSB likes to recruit capable young women. After all, Anna was a young woman herself when she started working for the WSB.
It’s been over a year since we were introduced to Jack Brennan, and we still don’t know much about him other than his attraction to Carly.
He’s been an awesome addition to the canvas, and it would be interesting to see him involved in a significant story or groom someone like Joss for the WSB.
Brennan has also been trying to recruit Carly’s bestie, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), for the WSB. Jason has repeatedly turned Jack down flat, and Jason warned Carly that Brennan is not to be trusted. Hopefully, Jason’s instincts about Brennan turn out to be a false alarm.
The WSB is dangerous, but Joss has what it takes to be a successful agent. Joss’s most significant obstacle in becoming a super spy is Carly’s fear for her daughter’s safety.
Just like her mother, Joss is a determined young woman who won’t shy away from a challenge. The Bureau would be lucky to have her.
