Congratulations are in order as Princess Beatrice is pregnant with her second child. She and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting.
Princess Beatrice Expects The Baby To Be Born In Early Spring 2025
The newborn will be a little brother or sister to Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna, and her stepson, “Wolfie,” Christopher Woolf.
A statement from Buckingham Palace exclaimed,
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring: a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.” They added, “His Majesty The King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news.”
Two new pictures were shared to commemorate the good news. One shows Sienna from behind as she strolls along a country lane, holding hands with her father and big brother, Wolfie.
With a bright red bow in her hair, Sienna is wearing yellow wellies and an all-in-one blue waterproof puddle suit decked out with clouds and birds.
In the other picture, the beaming Princess wears a black puffer jacket and smiles at the camera while her husband embraces her as he lovingly locks eyes with his wife.
The grandchild will be a great-nephew or niece to the King. The baby will also be Prince Andrew’s fourth grandchild, as Princess Eugenie has two little ones, August and Ernest Brooksbank.
The child will also be 11th in line to the throne, pushing Princess Eugenie back to 12th. The Duchess of York congratulated her daughter, Princess Beatrice, on social media.
“A very proud GiGi/Mom today. Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart,” she said. “Wolfie, August, Ernie, and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside.”
Sarah Ferguson Is A Proud Grandmother
Sarah Ferguson revealed a photo of herself with Princess Beatrice, sporting a floral headband and crouching down with the Princess’s daughter, Sienna, wearing a white flower girl-style dress with a light turquoise bow around her waist.
Beatrice’s mother added,
“Becoming a granny again fills my heart with happiness and gratitude. I cannot wait to meet this little one.”
Beatrice and Edoardo’s daughter, Sienna, was born at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, on September 18, 2021. Beatrice, who is the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, decided to pay a sweet tribute and honor Her Majesty with her daughter’s middle name, Elizabeth.
Sienna was baptized on April 29, 2022, at the Chapel Royal at St. James Place. Beatrice and her husband had a whirlwind romance, as they became engaged just eleven months after they first started dating in September 2019.
Edoardo proposed during his and Beatrice’s romantic excursion to Italy. After they announced their engagement, the couple started appearing together at royal events. They married in July 2020 at the Royal Chapel of All Saints and Royal Lodge. Beatrice wore a beautiful hand-me-down from Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo have recently enjoyed a few fun outings together, like BST in Hyde Park and attending Wembley Stadium for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Beatrice and Edoardo are excited to welcome their second child into their family. It is a joyous time for the happy couple.
