Princess Charlotte’s Middle Names Are Elizabeth And Diana
It’s hard to imagine anyone coming close to filling Diana’s shoes, but Kate Middleton is a woman who has earned the title of Princess of Wales.
Princess Diana and Kate Middleton are very different, but both hold a special place in the heart of the public and the Commonwealth in Britain.
Kate has kept Princess Diana’s memory alive several times, even when she’s not deliberately honoring her husband, Prince William’s late mother.
First and foremost, she makes sure that her children, Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte, know what a wonderful woman their grandmother was.
Princess Charlotte’s full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in honor of two great women, Diana and William’s late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Charlotte was christened at St. Mary Magdalene Parish Church in Sandringham, the same as Diana. Charlotte was christened at the church in July 2015. and Diana in August 1961. St. Mary Magdalene was also the parish church of the late Queen.
William and Princess Catherine didn’t want to settle for second best regarding their children’s education. They sent George to Westacre Montessori School located in Norfolk. Princess Diana trusted the Montessori method of teaching.
The Montessori educational approach is a child-centered method of education that incorporates child-led activities, classrooms with children of different ages, and teachers who promote independent students instead of leading a formal classroom.

Kate, Like Diana, Champions Children’s Causes
There are also more subtle ways in which Kate brings Diana to mind. In July 2013, Catherine lovingly cradled her first baby, George, in her arms as she stepped out of St. Mary’s Hospital in London. Kate wore a polka-dot dress like Diana when she left the hospital with baby William in June 1982.
For each child William and Kate had, they returned to the same hospital where Princess Diana gave birth to William and Prince Harry. It’s a family tradition.
Even Kate’s parenting skills mirror Princess Diana’s. She’s fiercely protective and often shows affection toward her children publicly.
Kate also pays tribute to Diana with the outfits and jewelry she wears. Her diamond engagement ring was passed down from Diana, and she wears some pieces from Diana’s collection. Kate has also worn Diana’s Lover’s Knot tiara on numerous occasions.
Kate seems to take style inspiration from her late mother-in-law, as her clothes often resemble Diana’s past outfits.
Throughout Diana’s life, she championed children’s causes, and as a teacher, she was passionate about childcare. Diana’s memorable visit was in 1985, at Activenture, a Red Cross adventure Camp for children with disabilities. The children felt they could trust and talk to Diana.
Kate is also focused on her work for youngsters. For example, In June 2021, Kate launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which conducts research, works, and campaigns with other charities on the significance of the early years. Like Diana, Kate truly cares about improving the lives of children.
