‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is silently struggling with her guilt over her plan with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) to frame Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for attempted murder.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Was Honest With Nina
It’s ridiculous when you think about it. A pregnant Kristina would never put the baby in jeopardy. Not to mention, Kristina almost died, and her baby did die.
At the Jerome Gallery, Ava’s former BFF, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), stopped by to inform her that Crimson had space to feature the artist Ava was so excited about.
The two women had a civil chat, and Ava finally got honest and told the truth about what happened between her and Kristina in Ava’s room at the Metro Court.
She admitted that Kristina tripped over John’s bag, which caused her to fall backward and crash through the window, plummeting five stories and landing in the pool.
Ava explained to Nina how she tampered with a crime scene and hid John’s bag, and then tried to make it look like Kristina tripped over the gallery owner’s shoes.
While Kristina’s epic swan dive was an accident, Ava still laid her hands on a pregnant woman, which resulted in Kristina trying to pull away as she tripped over the bag.
After Nina’s visit, John stopped by to coerce Ava to lie about the incident and say “exactly” what he wanted her to say to incriminate Kristina.
Agent Cates is only worried about keeping his badge and getting revenge on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He doesn’t care that Kristina almost died and she lost her baby.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava’s Bond With Trina Will Be Tested
The next GH will feature Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) challenging Ava. Trina and Ava have always had a strong bond, but that may soon change.
Although Trina has appeared willing to give Ava the benefit of the doubt so far, she may decide that she doesn’t really know Ava at all if she goes through and helps Cates with his evil scheme.
Trina witnessed Ava standing at the destroyed window after Kristina’s accident. Ava looked down and then quickly closed the curtains as if she didn’t want anyone to see her.
Ava thinks of Trina like she’s another daughter. If Trina presents to her an ultimatum, what will Ava do? The best thing for everyone is for Ava to come clean and admit that Kristina never physically attacked her. That way, John will lose his credibility and his badge. He may even be brought up on charges himself.
That would be karmic justice for the rogue and monstrous FBI Agent. John’s obsession with taking down Sonny has gone too far. Cates needs to realize he’s messing with the wrong family.
Speaking of Sonny, he will soon visit Ava. If she backs off Kristina, he could try to make some kind of deal with her.
Perhaps it will involve custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Or, he may threaten her life if she doesn’t cooperate.
Ava needs to tell the truth about what happened between her, Kristina, and Agent Cates. She may even have a chance to be redeemed.
