‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Brick (Stephen A Smith) had Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) room at the Metro Court under surveillance when Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) showed up furious at Ava for the subpoena to testify against her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Is Lying About What Happened
Ava is attempting to get custody of her young daughter with the mob boss. She was trying to claim that Sonny is a violent and unfit father to Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Ava wanted Kristina to tell the court that she witnessed Sonny beating and almost killing Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). The two women argued, and Kristina tripped over John “Jagger” Cates’s (Adam Harrington) bag and crashed through the window, falling five stories into the pool.
Now Ava is lying about what happened, as rogue and reckless Agent Cates coerced Ava to accuse Kristina of attempted murder. It’s a bit of a stretch that a pregnant Kristina attacked Ava, but that’s the story John and Ava are selling.
Kristina went to Ava’s suite to demand that she pull the subpoena, but Ava baited Kristina by trash-talking her parents, Sonny and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Ava was already on Kristina’s radar, as she was why her mom lost her law license. Ava verbally pushed Kristina, which made her angry, and that’s what the pictures show.
Ava tried to grab Kristina, and Kristina shouted at her, saying, “Get your hands off me.” That’s when the tragic accident happened, and Kristina lost her baby.
Brick may have bugged Ava’s room, as Sonny asked him to watch Ava and “take lots of pictures.” It’s feasible that he could have video and audio that correspond with the photos.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Audio Could Prove Kristina Is Innocent
If anything, it will prove that Ava is lying and that she’s the one who took the altercation to a physical level. When she reached out to grab Kristina, she took a step back, and Ava was guilty of not only lying but also trying to lay her hands on a pregnant woman as she purposefully provoked Kristina.
Ava knew she was in deep doo-doo when the pictures showed her with her hand on Kristina’s shoulder. John promised Ava he would get her out of her legal mess by turning the tables on Kristina.
John’s motivation is obviously to get to Sonny and hurt the people he loves. Ava is terrified of Sonny because of her role in wrecking his family, and even though Ava is Sonny’s baby mama, he feels she’s expendable.
First, it was his high-school sweetheart, Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), then his son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), and this time it was his grandchild.
Sonny can only take so much until he snaps and finally kills Ava. Spoilers suggest that there may even be a storyline about who killed Ava or John in the works.
Of course, the main suspect in both crimes would be Sonny. Kristina has been arrested for attempted murder, but she is grieving her child’s death, and she almost died herself.
Brick may be the key to saving Kristina and proving to everyone that Ava Jerome is a gigantic liar.
