Finally, Cates will continue his coaching of Ava. And by coaching, we mean feeding her what lies she’s supposed to tell in her statement. We all know that’s where it’s going, based on his conversation with her last time.
He’s a desperate man with only 48 hours to provide evidence that will keep him out of jail for his arrest of Kristina. So, we believe him capable of anything now. And it’s a shame, because he could’ve been an interesting character. Instead, they’ve made him a mess that needs to be written out as soon as possible.
