‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 20 reveal Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) joins a list of characters who should know better. Meanwhile, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) suffers a setback. Plus, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) gets news. Here’s what you need to know.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Blame game

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Molly is the latest to lose IQ points. In the promo, she complains about Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) actions. Yes, she is technically right that the baby would be alive now if Kristina had stayed away from Ava Jerome (Maura West).

But we can’t with the idea she actually believes Ava could be innocent here. With her history, Ava is the last person anyone should be giving the benefit of the doubt to.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Promises

Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a promise to Kristina. Since revenge is probably the last thing on Kristina’s mind in this situation, we assume he’s talking about getting her out of jail. And based on other information, we think he keeps the promise quickly.

See, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers say John loses his cool. It seems Cates wants to keep Kristina right where she is until trial. Based on the teaser, we think he failed. Not surprising, with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) involved.

Not to mention Sonny calling Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). We already know from the weekly that Kristina is not sitting in some jail cell for long. Likely, this will be the beginning of Cates’ downfall. As much as he’s bothered us lately, we are sort of disappointed.

The writers have done another typical destruction of a character, and in record time. Cates gets more and more unhinged every episode. And the idea that he really believes Ava is some poor victim is just beyond our understanding.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Bad news?

In other news, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) opens up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Since Laura has clearly been giving bad news about her daughter, we assume that’s what this is about. Dante will have a lot of complicated feelings to deal with, should the worst happen. Not to mention how he’ll break the news to his son.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Tuesday, August 20: Not a good choice

Finally, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Ava have an honest talk. If Ava initiated this, she’s fallen worse than we think. Oh, who are we kidding? It’d be on-brand at this point. Ava’s been making a habit of playing victim to people. Even ones who would have no reason to help her.
