‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) returns to GH next week to comfort his daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), as she navigates the loss of her child.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Molly Will Blame Kristina For The Baby’s Death
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has recently been arrested. As the story plays out, Molly will become disillusioned with her sister for even going to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) room in the first place.
When Kristina showed Molly the pictures of her and Ava arguing just before Kristina crashed through the window and plummeted five flights, Molly went off into her world as Kristina was talking.
Many fans thought it was because Molly realized that Kristina may have been the aggressor in the situation, not Ava.
Molly vented to her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), about Kristina’s astounding lack of self-control.
Molly is just looking for someone to blame, and because she and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) doubted Kristina throughout her pregnancy, the easiest person to blame is Kristina.
Molly’s first reaction was to blame Ava, but we knew she and T.J. would eventually point the finger at Kristina. She was carrying the baby, and she decided to confront Ava when she was very pregnant.
T.J. went to see Ava at the gallery, and Ava turned the tables on Kristina, saying she was out of control. T.J. actually seemed to buy what Ava was selling, and we know it’s because he never approved of Kristina as the surrogate.
That’s where Ric comes in. He’ll not only offer Molly support, but Molly will feel that she wants justice for the tragic death of her daughter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ric May Use The Lawsuit Against Kristina To Get Revenge On Sonny
Molly and T.J. are so devastated and angry that they may launch a legal case against Kristina. Ric, who has always had issues with his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), may believe that helping Molly with the case is a way to stick it to Sonny, as Kristina is his daughter.
Longtime viewers know that Sonny and Ric have never had a good relationship. Ric grew up thinking that Sonny pushed his mother down the stairs when she was pregnant with Ric because Sonny was allegedly jealous of the new baby.
Their mother eventually left Ric and their father, taking only Sonny. In Ric’s mind, Sonny stole his mother from him. It made him resent Sonny, and he never got past it.
The entire time he lived in Port Charles, Ric was obsessed with getting revenge on Sonny for the perceived betrayal. Ric won’t hesitate to represent Molly and T.J. should the couple decide to sue Kristina.
Look for Sonny and Ric to take sides in this legal dispute. Sonny’s going to do whatever it takes to help Kristina. He knows what happened wasn’t her fault.
The suit will reignite the decades-long battle between the brothers, and as Alexis will surely try to get her daughters to make peace, she will also have to contend with a replay of the war between Sonny and Ric. The two sisters, both heartbroken over the loss of the baby, will never be the same.
