‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are happy there are some good things the show’s new writers are doing that are pretty cool, unfortunately, they’re teases of what could be rather than what will.
We could be wrong and we hope we are, but there are some couples we’d love to see together for a while.
They’re fun together and lighten the mood of the show, and that could be a winning formula while the rest meanders around the bend.
What would make these choices fun are the possible storylines that would be created by them organically instead of trying to manufacture reasons, and those are often the best storylines around.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Jagger and Carly
Okay, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers know we’re going to catch some flak for this given Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back in the picture, but it’d be nice to see Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) go in a new direction.
For years, she hasn’t been allowed to grow, citing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) changing and growing as being bad while she wants to remain where she’s at.
And with everyone bailing her out so she doesn’t have to rebuild after adversity, her character’s become a Mary Sue type that can do no wrong and most character want her or to be her.
And that’s where her being with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J Harrington) makes sense, and one of those is Jason won’t be her hero.
After all he went through, having Carly choose Jagger and he destroy the evidence to protect her would put Jason in a spot where he’ll have to find his way, since he really hasn’t had to do that since his return.
As for Carly, Jagger is one of the few people she doesn’t act like he should bow and kiss her feet, and that’s a nice change from the “You know who I am?” act she’s used for years.
It’ll give her a chance to finally grow and go in so many new directions.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Sonny and Natalia
This is a fun one since we were all for Sonny and Ava Jerome (Maura West) a while back until she underwent a character change as well.
But now that Sonny’s sat and talked with Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) a couple of times and they hit it off, it looks like things are going to be fun between them.
Especially now that he gave Ava the boot.
It’ll be good for both of them as they balance each other and he’ll be able to help her understand and deal with letting her daughter be her own woman and less controlled.
There’s also going to be some juicy moments when she learns Sonny’s a mob boss and how that news could affect her daughter’s career.
Those are difficult waters they could navigate through or she could ditch him and we lose out on some great dramatic moments, which is what we expect to happen.
