‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have been waiting for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)’s return to Port Charles, and thankfully Steve Burton isn’t keeping us in suspense any longer.
Burton announced he was back on the ‘General Hospital’ set on social media and as for his return date, he told his followers to click on the link in his bio to DailyDrama.com.
This is huge news as he’s officlaly returning to our screens as Jason Morgan on March 4, and we have a feeling it’s going to be one of the most DVR’d episodes in memory.
Burton also appeared on the Daily Drama Podcast to confirm his airdate.

In the video, Burton talks about the details, which we’ve included the transcript below.
“Okay. All right. So, here’s what’s crazy is I’m back on the set. We’re getting ready to shoot right now. So, listen, I got to talk to the head writers. This story is going to be sick. It’s gonna be awesome. So, make sure you keep watching because the pieces of the puzzle are gonna be fit for when I return. And that return date, that air date, it is March 4th. Stay tuned. Keep watching. And, if you stopped, get back because it’s gonna be awesome.”
This is great news on so many levels, and we’re excited to have him back, though it won’t be the Jason we’re used to seeing. In our opinion, anyway.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers talked about the possibility of the WSB brainwashing Jason and turning him against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
In this case, Jason is the one that recently attacked Sonny and his family on his island.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Reworking history to fit
While Burton didn’t mention any storyline details, we feel secure in our belief he’s the gunman and also the one that killed Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
At the time, it was obviously set up to be Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) that killed him for Ava Jerome (Maura West), but it looks like that’s going to be changed.
We think Austin would have been Jason’s test run for his brainwashing, and then he moved on to trying to send a message to Sonny.
Even now, it seems like he’s toying with Sonny more than trying to kill him, showing him he can get to him anywhere and that could be the biggest plan for Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) since Sonny refused to do business with him.
