‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros ) is in the hot seat. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) kicked her out of his penthouse and has Nina’s partner in crime, Ava Jerome (Maura West), staying with him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow and Nina’s Fractured Relationship
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) wants nothing to do with Nina. After all the time and effort put into repairing their fractured relationship, Willow can’t stand the idea that she allowed Nina to get so close to her and her family.
With Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on the outs, Willow will need someone to talk to. Preferably someone who isn’t as close to the situation and can be honest with her.
That’s where Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) comes in. She has already advised Nina to let things be for now, and everything will work out as it should.
If only Nina were good at taking advice. Nina usually acts impulsively without thinking things through. It’s obvious she will approach Willow before she’s ready to talk.
If there’s one person who may be able to put things into perspective for both Nina and Willow, it’s Sasha. The deception model came to Port Charles on a mission concocted by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). They were pretending that Sasha was Nina’s daughter.
In Valentin’s warped mind, he was giving Nina something that no one else could give her. He thought it was his ticket to being Nina’s husband forever, but it blew up in Valentin and Sasha’s faces.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina’s Complicated Past With Sasha
For a long time, Nina was furious with both Valentin and Sasha. She wanted nothing to do with them as well. But then something extraordinary occurred. Nina forgave Sasha, and the two became close, like mother and daughter.
Now Nina is on the other end, and it doesn’t feel too good. She doesn’t know where to turn and how to begin rebuilding the life she lost the minute she chose to turn Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC.
So, Sasha may be the key to helping Nina earn Willow’s forgiveness. The complicated history between Nina and Sasha can help set the stage for a significant redemption story in which Nina can make up for all the pain she has caused.
Perhaps Willow won’t forgive her right away, but it will take time for her to trust Nina again. Willow’s capacity to forgive will be put to the test as she navigates her heartbreak and disappointment over Nina’s betrayal.
Sasha may be the only one who can get through to Willow about her relationship with her mother. Most of the people Willow surrounds herself with would be happy if she never spoke to Nina again.
But the fact remains that Nina is Willow’s mother. Willow was on a path to get to know her mother, and now it has derailed, and Nina is the villain again.
Sasha will remind Willow that Nina could forgive her for pretending to be her daughter. If Nina and Sasha could be in the place they are today, there would be hope for Willow and Nina to find their way back to each other.
