‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Will Be Livid with Nina and Michael
The SEC secret is finally out. There is no turning back now. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be livid with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for lying to his face and trying to have the mother of his children, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), sent to prison.
If Sonny is as angry with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as he seemed, imagine his reaction to his wife’s deception. There may be a reason why Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) discovered this secret and preached about God to Nina because we predict that instead of blaming Carly for her selfish actions, Nina will not try to justify what she did.
Nina may have learned something from her creepy encounter with Cyrus. She will take full responsibility for her actions and tell the truth.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will be impressed by how far Nina has come. Of course, she will be hurt and angry about what Nina did to Carly, but she may be more understanding about what transpired than Sonny will, as long as Nina is remorseful.
Sonny will not be so understanding. Willow will be angrier with her husband, Michael, than with Nina. Michael used the SEC secret to blackmail Nina and control her relationship with Willow.
He also used the secret to control Nina’s relationship with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Nathan and Owen Ford).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Will Figure Out Michael Has Been Blackmailing Nina
As for Sonny and Michael, Sonny won’t be able to forgive his son either. At least not right away. Sonny won’t like how Michael blackmailed Nina instead of coming to him with the truth.
Sonny sees what Michael did to him as no better than what Michael did with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Everyone who knew about the SEC secret before Sonny and Willow did something underhanded and sneaky.
Willow will figure out what has been going on behind her back before Michael even opens his mouth. Nina has not been as present in her life as she was before.
She is going to realize that Michael, instead of telling Willow the truth and allowing her to make up her mind, he lied to her and decided it would be a good idea to use the information to blackmail her mother.
There could be a separation between the couple. There will definitely be a separation between Sonny and Nina.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Will Forgive Nina Sooner Rather than Later
Sonny is going to be furious that Nina lied to him again. When they were together in Nixon Falls, Nina kept Sonny’s past and his family a secret.
The two of them reconnected only when Sonny believed he had no shot of making his marriage with Carly work.
Sonny and Nina may be over, but Nina will still have her daughter. Willow promised Nina that she wouldn’t lose her again, and Nina didn’t intend to let Michael, the mother-daughter bond she built with Willow.
It is also in Willow’s nature to be forgiving, and when Nina made that call to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to tip off the SEC, Nina and Willow had not yet formed a meaningful relationship.
Michael’s wife may be moving out of the Quartermaine gatehouse and staying somewhere that she can be alone to think.
Sonny will no doubt kick Nina out of the house, and he may not even give her a chance to pack her stuff. Get the popcorn ready because the fallout will be glorious.
